DESCRIPTION:Cancer impacts more than just the body — it affects emotional\, mental\, and social well-being. For Black\, Indigenous\, and People of Color (BIPOC)\, these psychosocial challenges are often compounded by systemic barriers\, cultural stigmas\, and gaps in culturally responsive care. \nThis virtual discussion brings together experts\, advocates\, and individuals with lived experience to explore the unique psychosocial needs of BIPOC communities in cancer care. Through honest dialogue and shared perspectives\, this event will validate lived experiences\, examine disparities in support systems\, and highlight the importance of culturally attuned resources. \nAttendees will gain insight into how identity\, representation\, and community shape the cancer experience — and walk away with practical tools\, guidance\, and resources to better support themselves\, their loved ones\, and others. \nEvent Goals:\n– Validate the lived experiences of BIPOC individuals and communities impacted by cancer\n– Explore gaps\, barriers\, and disparities in psychosocial cancer care\n– Highlight the importance of culturally responsive support and representation\n– Empower attendees with information\, tools\, and resources to better meet psychosocial needs
