DESCRIPTION:Camp Kesem is a free summer sleepaway camp (meaning that campers stay overnight at camp)\, typically lasting 3 to 5 nights\, for youth impacted by a parent’s cancer. We focus on creating fun experiences that help children facing a parent’s cancer escape – even if for a short time – the challenges of coping with a parent’s cancer diagnosis. Campers find adventure and creativity\, build trust in themselves\, and create new friendships.  \nYouth and adolescents ages 6-18 who have lost a parent to cancer\, have a parent undergoing\ncancer treatment\, or a parent who is a cancer survivor are eligible to register.
