We cannot wait to have you tune in on Friday\, November 12\, 2021!  \nAll proceeds from the event will go towards adolescent mental health and mentoring services for high-risk teens. With the rising need for accessible services for families in need\, it more important than ever that we help our local youth set achievable goals to succeed in life.

DESCRIPTION:Brushes with Cancer provides psycho-social support for those touched by cancer to improve the quality of life for cancer patients\, their family\, and loved ones\, through a unique art experience. \nBrushes with Cancer strategically matches artists with those touched by cancer to create unique pieces of artwork reflective of their journey. Over a period of 5 months\, pairs will connect virtually and their relationships are guided and supported by Twist Out Cancer mentors with the intention of creating a support system for both the artist and inspiration. The program finishes on a high note with our signature celebratory art exhibition\, gala and auction where the artwork is revealed for the first time. Due to the nature of the pandemic all Brushes with Cancer programs will be held virtually with the hope of being able to gather in the near future. \nWe invite you to join the TOC community and guests for a time of celebration\, storytelling\, survivorship\, and hope. During the celebration\, each artist’s piece will be officially revealed and auctioned\, with proceeds benefitting the mission and work of Twist Out Cancer. \nThe Midwest 2021 Brushes with Cancer program includes 70 participants\, plus 11 mentors\, from 10 states across the U.S. as well as individuals from the UK\, India\, and Canada.
