Morning meditation can be a moment of respite before the rush of the day. One of our four experienced facilitators will be guiding you each week so no prior meditation is necessary. \nEach Tuesday morning session will offer two back to back 15-minute meditations for a total of 30 minutes so those who are beginners or have less time can join for the first 15 minutes beginning at 8:00 am Pacific Time. DESCRIPTION:We welcome all to join us in our weekly Tuesday morning meditation to begin each Tuesday with presence\, intention\, and reflection. Morning meditation can be a moment of respite before the rush of the day. One of our four experienced facilitators will be guiding you each week so no prior meditation is necessary. \nEach Tuesday morning session will offer two back to back 15-minute meditations for a total of 30 minutes so those who are beginners or have less time can join for the first 15 minutes beginning at 8:00 am Pacific Time. Those who have more time or can sit longer may choose to stay for the second 15 minutes of meditation. See the event website link to register. You only need to register once and the link that is sent to you is good for the entire year.

SUMMARY:Epic Experience Raftoberfest
DESCRIPTION:Raftoberfest is a one-of-a-kind event in Colorado where guided raft trips down the Colorado River are followed by a beer festival with our partner\, Whitewater Rafting LLC in Glenwood Springs\, CO. Participants spend a half day (3 hrs) rafting before heading to the boathouse for an outdoor party with music\, drinks\, games\, dinner\, and silent auction. This year marks the 6th annual Raftoberfest!

In 2001\, we threw our first Goombay Bash under the guise of a casual Caribbean-style festival. Since then\, Goombay Bash has grown to become one of the largest and liveliest cancer research fundraising events in Chicago\, hosting over 1\,000 guests! All proceeds benefit Basic Science Cancer Research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
