Why It Matters:
Before his diagnosis, Ike had already been volunteering with patients. But after undergoing brain surgery in 2005, his perspective shifted. That experience gave him deeper empathy for those facing medical challenges—an insight that helped shape what would eventually become Cardz For Kidz.
