Kesem

Camp Kesem is a free summer sleepaway camp (meaning that campers stay overnight at camp), typically lasting 3 to 5 nights, for youth impacted by a parent’s cancer. We focus on creating fun experiences that help children facing a parent’s cancer escape – even if for a short time – the challenges of coping with a parent’s cancer diagnosis. Campers find adventure and creativity, build trust in themselves, and create new friendships.

Youth and adolescents ages 6-18 who have lost a parent to cancer, have a parent undergoing
cancer treatment, or a parent who is a cancer survivor are eligible to register.
